As a child, I expressed myself through art. I fell in love with the process of drawing and painting, telling the story hidden in the canvas. As I grew older, I found my second passion in science. My curiosity of life drove me to understand biology; the story of life. I found that these two interests collided and fell into the interdisciplinary realm of the culinary arts. I soon found myself experimenting in the kitchen with different recipes, flavors, and ingredients; Artfully plating and photographing my dishes. It never occured to me that my ultimate passion would pull from both of my hobby and career. I want to show food is an artistic expression that can be made by anyone. It is never too late to start your culinary journey. Food can be approachable and delicious.
