Hi! My name is Alicia, I am obtaining my bachelor's degree in marketing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I created my Instagram account to show people who may suffer with allergies or food intolerances, 100% dairy free products (since I have an allergy myself) and also show people better alternatives to products they’re already consuming. I post a lot of unknown businesses on my page because so many go unrecognized, and I want them to grow and get the recognition that they deserve! Who is your audience?
At sixteen-years-old I had to go through one of the toughest challenges - going
completely dairy free. I have no clue where to start and couldn't seem to find any
alternatives that suited my needs. Nobody I knew dealt with any sort of allergy, and I
have no role models on Instagram that I felt I could use for guidance. That's when I
created Dairy Free Foods. A place where people could go see allergy friendly swaps that are worth the money. My goal is to help people find dairy-free products and healthier alternatives to products they’re already consuming, while also promoting unknown business as many go unrecognized and I want them to grow and get the recognition that they deserve.
